Boys & Girls Club of Rochester:
Who We Are
In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship—sometimes in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them.
Boys & Girls Club of Rochester offers that and more. We are youth development professionals using Club programs and services to promote boys’ and girls’ development by instilling in them a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging, and influence.
Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow—all while having fun. Truly Great Futures Start Here.
Boys & Girls Club of Rochester is:
- A Safe Place for kids to learn and grow
- Staffed with caring, adult professionals who develop ongoing relationships with members
- Life-enhancing programs and character development experiences
- Hope and opportunity
We've moved our Center Street Unit!
Boys & Girls Club of Rochester is excited to partner with Child Care Resource & Referral's Head Start program to build a NEW space in Rochester supporting youth ages birth to 18. This new facility will be at the current Center Street Unit and will double our capacity to serve kids.
Due to the construction and rehabilitation of the current building, we have moved our Center Street Unit program and administrative offices to our Northwest Unit. This will be a temporary move until we are able to move back into our new Center Street Unit in lFall 2013.
Boys & Girls Club will offer the same fun, fantastic programs for kids after school in a dedicated program space! If you have any questions, we can be reached at 287-2300. We are excited about this fantastic opportunity to grow our programs and services to Rochester youth.
