Lily:

Super cool is how Lily describes the Boys & Girls Club in Blooming Prairie, where she has been a member since it opened in 2005.  Lily is 10 years old and attends the Club nearly every day along with her twin sister, Kara, and her older brother Jake.

When she's at the Club, Lily enjoys playing problem-solving games on the computer, learning to set and achieve goals, and making quick and nutritious snacks in Club Cook.  She also likes Hobby Time, where she enjoys sewing and knitting neat stuff - including this colorful fringed scarf!

As generous as she is creative, Lily organized a fundraiser last year after a relative was diagnosed with cancer.  Although that relative did not survive, Lily plans to raise money again this summer - this time to benefit kids with the disease.

Lily says her grades are better since she started coming to the Club, and that all her friends are members, too.  She says she likes the variety of activities available at the Club, and the way the staff helps kids learn and feel good about themselves!
