The Club serves any child 6 to 18 years of age. Parents/guardians of children with special needs may make arrangements with club staff at 507-287-2300.

Locations

  • Boys & Girls Club of Rochester Northwest & Center St. Unit is located at the former Gage East school building at 930 40th St. NW, Rochester, MN 55901. Phone: 507-287-2300.
  • Boys & Girls Club of Rochester Center Street Unit is temporarily closed through 2012-2013. This Unit is located at the former Holmes school building at 1026 East Center Street, Rochester, MN 55904.
  • Boys & Girls Club of Blooming Prairie is located at 401 SE 4th St., Blooming Prairie, MN 55917. Phone: 507-583-6699.

Some days may vary due to early closings or school holidays.

All three units of the Club are closed on weekends.

All three units of the Club are closed on: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (and the Friday after), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Club Membership

  • Membership cards are required for all members. Members must bring their cards with them every day and to any Club-related event.
  • A one-year membership is only $10 per year, with a $30 maximum charge per family.
  • Financial assistance may be available.  Contact your Club for additional information and a request form.

Meals

  • During the school year, the Club provides a snack.
  • During the summer, the Club offers breakfast, lunch and a snack.

Getting to the Club

Transportation Registration form

Boys & Girls Club of Rochester has the ability to pick up members after school from these schools and transport them to Boys & Girls Club NW site:

  • Willow Creek Middle
  • Kellogg Middle
  • Lincoln

Boys & Girls Club of Rochester members attending the following schools will be bussed by Rochester Public Schools to the transfer site at St. Francis. They will then board Boys & Girls Club bus and van for transport to Boys & Girls Club NW site:

  • Bamber Valley
  • Ben Franklin
  • Jefferson
  • Riverside
  • Hoover
  • St. Francis

During the school year, transportation to the Northwest Club is provided by the school district.  The following schools have daily routes to the Club:

  • Sunset Terrace Elementary
  • Washington Elementary

A completed Transportation Registration Form is required for all members utilizing this service. We will no longer be providing transportation home from Club.
