The Club serves any child 6 to 18 years of age. Parents/guardians of children with special needs may make arrangements with club staff at 507-287-2300

 

Locations

  • Boys & Girls Club of Rochester Center Street Unit is the main site and is located at the former Holmes school building at 1026 East Center Street, Rochester, MN 55904. Phone: 507-287-2300.
  • Boys & Girls Club of Rochester Northwest Unit is located at 930 40th St. NW (the former Gage East Kindergarten building).  The Unit is open during the school year (with limited hours in the summer). Phone: 507-258-0532.
  • Boys & Girls Club of Rochester Blooming Prairie Unit is located at 401 SE 4th St., Blooming Prairie, MN  55917. Phone: 507-583-6699.

Hours

  • The Club is open during the school year   Monday-Friday for 6-18 year-olds.

    Center Street Unit - 3-8pm

    Northwest Unit - 3-7pm

    Blooming Prairie Unit - 3-6:30pm

  • The Center Street Unit is open during the summer Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm for 6-12 year-olds and from 12-8pm for 13-18 year-olds.
  • The Northwest Unit is open during the summer Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm for 6-12 year olds and from 12-6pm for 13-18 year olds.
  • The Blooming Prairie Unit is open during the summer Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm for 6-18 year olds.
  • All three units of the Club are closed on weekends.
  • All three units of the Club are closed on: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4th), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day (and the Friday after), Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Club Membership

  • Membership cards are required for all members. Members must bring their cards with them every day and to any Club-related event.
  • A one-year membership is only $10 per year, with a $30 maximum charge per family.
  • Scholarships are available in return for two hours of Club service. Scholarship applications are available at the front desk.

Meals

  • During the school year, the Club provides a snack.
  • During the summer, the Club offers breakfast, lunch and a snack.

Getting to the Club

During the school year, transportation to the Club is provided by the school district.  The following schools have daily routes to the Club:

  • Bamber Valley Elementary
  • Ben Franklin Elementary
  • Friedell Middle School
  • Jefferson Elementary
  • Kellogg Middle School
  • Riverside Central Elementary

The Boys & Girls Club provides transportation home for members who live within a five mile radius of our Center Street Unit starting at 5:15pm daily. Please call the Club at 507-287-2300 for more information.

The Club bus will drop off members at or very near their home. The actual bus stop is determined by information given on the bus permission slip.  Once members sign up for transportation services, the Club will provide them with an approximate drop-off time.
