Mia's Story

Mia is 13 years old and has been coming to the club since she was 6 years old.  She has three older siblings who are also members of the club.  Mia describes herself as energetic and a good role model to younger members. 

Mia has a strong passion for gymnastics and track and field.  She is always trying to flip around the club or outside in our courtyard racing someone. 

One of the things she likes most about the club is she gets to spend time with friends and just be herself. 

The Date Smart program has taught her a lot and she is looking forward to it starting again.  This summer Mia is looking forward to going on the Teens annual trip to Valley Fair.
