Boys & Girls Club of Rochester is looking for fantastic, dedicated volunteers! Volunteers impact the lives of Club members. Club volunteers provide a safe, fun, and nurturing place where members feel welcome. Make a lifelong impact on the Rochester community and change the life of a child!
All volunteers must be in high school or older, pass a thorough background check, and complete volunteer training prior to participating.

Assist in the art room as members draw, paint, color and oragami (6:30 - 7:30 p.m.)
Hang out with members while they eat and help clean up (4:30 - 5:30 p.m.)
Hang out with members grades K - 1 as they use their creativity and imagination (3:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Assist with putting member belongings in cubbies and helping members with wristbands (2:30 - 4:30 p.m.)
Play games with members, such as billiards, air hockey, foosball and board games (2:30 - 8 p.m.)
Assist in the gym with the various age groups and with special programming, such as Club Fit (2:30 - 6:30 p.m.)
Work with a member one-on-one for help with academic and social skills (1 hour per week)
Play outside with members on the playground, engaging in various games and outside activities (3:30 - 6:30 p.m., weather pending)
Ready to Read
Work with students grades K - 2 on literacy skills, implementing fun activities, games, and reading (4:30 - 5:30 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays)
Members grades 2 - 5 work with staff on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (5:30 - 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays)
Help students of all ages with homework in the Education Center, covering all major subjects in school (2:30 - 5:30 p.m.)
